2nd hand..Awesome..4.40 challenge obv not going my way so far

First one I play today, 25/50, 3 limpers, I make it 300 otb with JJ..Some idiot who had been making donkish plays all tourney long calls and we see it HU..Flop is 10 8 3, he checks, I bet 350 with like 600 behind, hoping he thinks he has some fold equity with whatever stupid hand he has..He jams, and has 10 3…10 3? Really. NH sir

Second one, I get off to a good start, and have 4.5K at start of 2nd hour..I spewed 600 chips getting lazy and calling an UTG raise with 77, blah, w/e..Then I’m in the SB with A2 and the bb has 1000 behind after he posts 200…I put him all in, he calls with 10 9 os, and I brick a 14 outter after the flop…Awesome…So then down to 1.8K with blinds at 100/200 and it folds to me in the CO, I jam 55 and this fuckin idiot calls again with Q8 os…I obv lose that…What a joke, so frustrating

So I haven’t posted for quite some time, I haven’t played much..I’ve been trying to make do with the limited roll I’ve had and it hasn’t worked out really..I however, did beat up $5 HU SNG’s a bit using my 100% button raise strategy.. I then used 25 bucks for the Feb. 4.40 challenge which me and Beaver are playing as a team in. I’m pretty excited for this, but really just hoping I start running better..I’ve lost like 2892 straight races it seems, and its getting old..

For example, I played a 4.40 the other day and got off to a sick start. I had like 7.5K at the end of the first break and was really pumped. Then I lost a race for 1.5K ( MP raies to 450, has 1K behind, I have 99 OTB, put him in, he has AK, Kxxxx). After that I might have made the only spewey play I made all tourney, although I still don’t think its bad..I raised in late position with 67 os, got called by one of the blinds..He donk min bet into me, and I raised to like 900 or 1K ish…Flop was KQx, Blinds were 75/150, so pretty standard raise, hoping to snap off one of those gay bets…He shoved though and I folded…

Shortly after, I was down to like 3.5 Kish, and after a MP min raise, I flopped the nut flush with A9cc..Doubled there after c/c, c/rai on turn, although his turn bet pretty much put me all in..I’m pretty sure that was the best line there with stacks and 3 people seeing a flop..

After that, just got blinded down a bit to like 6.5K ish and some guy who in his only hand I saw him play called a 4x raise from utg with J10 in UTG +1, opened from EP for 4x..I found AK in MP, jammed it (his initial raise was to 1600, so really the only possible move) and he called with 10s…10 in door, gg me..

I looked back over the HH today and everything was really standard..I didn’t spew any, besides maybe the 67 play and that was just an aggressive play, w/e…

Played a 4.40 today, just couldn’t get anything goin, then lost a race…

Run good one time starting Feb 1, pweeeeeezeeee?!

So I somehow continue to cash mtt sngs/mtts with 10 dollars..I’m really lucky to be honest lol..

I played 2 4.40s and I bubbled both of those. Absolutley sickening, what a stupid waste of time. I can’t even remember any memorable hands coming up. I think I just spewed near the bubble with some loose preflop raises. I keep getting min raised after I put in a standard raise and it pisses me off so I call out of spite and waste 2 BBs with something dumb like A10. I swear one of these times, I’m gonna flop 10 10 x and show these donks lol

I know I lost one of the 4.40s with 88 vs A10, he rivered like a gazillion outter. whatever. Then Kuge was kind enough to stake me in the 20K gur. Got off to a good start when some idiot played a flopped set like well…an idiot…Limped pot real early, I had A7h on the button or CO..Flop was Qx3, two hearts. I think we were 5 or 6 handed in this pot, checks around to me and I semi bluff t90. He called, turn is a beautiful heart, he check/calls another 1/2 pot bet about. River is a heart, he check/calls a 2/3 pot bet with 333. Moron. I then unsuccesfully bluffed someone and lingered around 2K for a while.

Fortunately someone gave me a courtesy double up at 75/150 when UTG limped, I made it 600 with AQs..MP calls and I had less than a PSB left so it really didn’t matter, I was shoveling any flop..Came really ragged, like 8 5 3, I shoved, he insta calls with A10. Lool donkaments. NP sir. I got moved about 3 trillion times but kept plugging away..I doubled with AA, gave some back in a terrible blind rotation although I played each pot well IMO.

CO raised and I was BB with A10h.. We were both pretty deep so I decided to make a reraise ( I had a solid image). I think his raise was to 1200, I made it 3600, he flatted which kinda set off alarms..Flop was 652 all dia. Terrible. Normally I continue here, but I felt he was just going to shove in on me with a HUGE range. He’s not folding really any pair on this flop, esp if he has a dia and if he has an A or K dia, he’s shoveling on me w/ that too. I decided to save the bet and c/f..He shoved, showed KK with K of dia..Next hand EP donk min raises, Fairly active CO flats and I call with 88. Flop comes J 4 3, 2 sp. I decide to lead out, because I know EP is going to bet regardless so I might as well find out for my price whats goin on. I 1/2 pot it, EP calls, and CO puts in a faggy 2/3rd stack raise. NH sir, you clearly have AJ or a set. EP pays him w/ KQ of spades, CO had a ton of threes.

I managed not to tilt and bounced back with a few big pots..QQ from EP > AQ. Then a short stack shoveled for like 2.5 BBs, SB and I call from bb wiht Ac5x. Flop comes AK6, 2 clubs. SB bets 3 BBs, I call. Turn 8c, he min bets I call. River glorious club, he min bets, I make a tiny value raise which he in no way is calling. Take down that pot.

Then came my death table. Just horrible stacks all around me. Two to my left is a guy with 3x my stack and I have slightly above average and 4 to my right is another guy with 3x my stack. There are aggrodonks everywhere here..So I start with 40K, blinds are 800/1600 I think when I started here, or something close.

1st hand: Villain with 120K open shoves lol. WTF. I have AQ on button and muck, I know nothing about him and the other stack who can bust him is in BB. What a stupid raise. I think I hate it but stack off with AK there. I posted it on FCP, but pretty much my range is QQ+, AK for calling that tom foolery

2nd hand: I come from EP 3x with AK os (I think it was t3600), Big stack in MP repops me to 8K, and then BB, the other huge stack, ships in 120K lol. I didn’t even get the “throwemaway you have 15 sec” message. Into the muck. If BB doesn’t make that silly raise, I make it 22K (might as well make it look like AA/KK) and commit myself.

3rd hand: MP open limps, I’m in the CO I think with A10 and make it 3.5x. SB SNAP calls ( I never have any idea what type of stupid fuckin hand does this) and MP folds. Flop is JJx. Check/check. Turn Q. He checks, I bet 1/2 pot he snap calls. I have no idea whats goin on here. River x, he checks again, I give up and check and he shows 99. I wish I had more info on him because if I have any sort of read that he can fold, I ship the river. But everyone hates folding in these things so thats probably a -ev play long run.

Last hadn: I have an M of about 4 and UTG limps, same guy that was MP in last hand. I ship it with A10h from UTG +1 and he ends up calling with AJ. I don’t know if I lost patience or if this is a standard ship, who knows. I had no idea how light he was limping but with blinds about to hit me, I figured it was moving time

I shipped 1/2 my winnings to Kuge and now have a whopping 11 dollars to work with. This game is so stupid lol.. I had fun playing though today, felt pretty decent about the way I played. Maybe soon I’ll have a break through. Thankfully I have a decent amount of real friends (not E friends, although I love you guys too) who have moneys on sites right now, so I don’t think they will mind hooking up a stake now and again.

I rallied to cash in the 4.40 last night to save me from going broke, but didn’t final table, which is a huge disapointment. It effectively fell apart in 3 hands. I got moved to the other table, which really sucked because I had good reads and a good grasp for what I could get away with at the other table.

First hand was a limped pot between MP, SB, and I (bb) when I had J10. Sb was the chip leader and pretty aggressive..Flop was 78x and MP min bet and SB came along. I figured the implied odds of hitting a 9 were there, and my Jacks and 10s were discounted outs..turn was an ace, he min bet agian, we both called. River was a 10, and SB fired 4K into a pot of about 10Kish…I thought about it and figured he could be bluffing a missed draw or 910 here, and he turned over 10 8 for two pair..That call was a bit light, I probably should have done a few things differnetly in that hand.

Next hand I posted in tourney strat, and am still undecided on the best play..EP limped, and I made it about 3.5x with AQ. He called with 10K behind and donk shoved an 886, 2 heart board. I really considered calling, as he can take this line with a variety of holdings. Mid pairs (which is what I’m afraid of), draws, and air are all part of his range, but with no read on Villain, its really tough to make a hero call there when your left with 4 BBs if you lose..I ended up folding begrudgingly, and he showed A9c. Blah, I guess thats a good play by him

Alas, was my bust out hand. I might have been a little tilted but I dunno. I had about 14K maybe and we were 7 handed, folded around to the SB who was the CL and very aggressive, and he raised 3x, I shoved on him with A7 and he called with JJ, GG me. I had restole on him earlier when he came with 4x from the button, so this possibly was poor timing on my part, but I kind of made my mind up before he acted that if it folded around to him and he put in any sort of raise, I was committing myself because he should/would be taking this line with a huge range. I might be off base, but who knows..

Anyways I have about 2 4.40s left in the tank and will probably play them later today. I felt pretty good about the way I played yesterday..I made a hero call in a limped pot for all my chips on the river early, so that was cool. I had 8 2 on an 8 5 3 K 9 board against a Villain I put a bad beat on earlier..he was very aggro.. I bet the flop and c/c, c/c for my stack on the river. he showed J10.

This hand came up in a 4.40. I’m playing 2 of them with the last of my roll and its looking pretty bleak at this point

I talked to Zach and we had a pretty in depth discussion about the line we should be taking here..The first mistake here is not betting the flop..Its tough to get the max money in on 2 streets instead of 3 so betting here is probably best, but I was hoping MP would just fire with air or whatever stupid hand he has and I could c/r or c/c or something.. After that when SB pots it, we should probably take a WA/WB line and keep pot control and call. If he is bluffing, then we let him continue that, since the board is so dry. If he has a crap hand and we raise, then hes going to shut down..Its tough though because its a 4.40 and some idiots will do this w/ a huge range..If I don’t bet the flop, this is the only line I probably don’t go broke with but instead I stacked off and he had K9. Its probably inevitable in this hand that I go broke but whatever..It was good to talk it over at least with Zach and see an alternate route and dissect it

I’m gonna finish this other 4.40, then probably moan and bitch about how bad I run, and post some thoughts

I’m finally doing a poker blog. I honestly don’t think more than 5 people will read it but hey, if they find it interesting and it helps me a bit from going on crazy monkey life tilt, then so be it. Unfortunately, I don’t know how long I’ll honestly have money on a site. I’m so broke in real life that whenever I make any money, I usually withdraw and try to make it happen wtih less than 50 bucks or so. So whatever

Yesterday was probably one of the more frustrating poker days I’ve had in a long time. Earlier this week, Beaver hooked it up with a 50 dollar loan and I took down a 4.40 that night. Paid that back, cashed out 150 because I’m ridiculously broke as noted above. Left myself with a little over 50 and I was at 40ish yesterday when I played a 3r. GREAT first hour.. I got it all in in a 20K pot with 99 vs 22 , 22 and Q4s (he only had 500ish chips)..Faded a FD from Q4 and was cruising with only 6 bones invested…

Then I’m about 1/2 way through the 2nd hour and I have about 30K. 150/300, MP raises to 600, I repop in the sb to about 1800 with AA..BB flats (o rly) and MP does too..At this point I have BB on a pretty narrow range of hands. It most likely consists of 10s-KK and maybe AK..MP I have no clue, he just sat. Flop comes 10 9 4, I bet 3.8K, BB shoves for 13K total.. Most donks would either put in a smaller raise here or flat with a set, plus I think JJ and QQ make up a TON of his range. I call, QQ, turn 8, river J. Fuck you. I didn’t even want to play after that, so just had Justin sit in the rest of the time. That pot gives me a top 25 stack and just all sorts of options on what style to play for a while. So frustrating.

So then I calm down, watch the Cavs inch one out against the Lakers, and accidentally took a nap at 10:00 til almost midnight..Oops. So now that I’m not on LFT, I decide to play a 11.70 2x shootout to the Million. My first table only had 4 people and the first dude got knocked out on the first hand. I kinda coolered the guy I was playing HU. I limp with 10 3 (blinds are super low) he checks. Flop 10 7 3, 2 dia. He checks, I bet 100 (PSB) he calls. Turn is a 3 (Gin!), he donks 225 or so, I flat. River x, he checks, I bet 400, he raises, I shove, he has 39 or something. GG

Final table time, only one hand really worth mentioning. Everyone there was a donk except 1 guy. Just fuckin terrible. 2 seats gur., just need to avoid bad beats/coolers, and I’m good as gold. I have 1100 or so, 7 or 8 handed, Donk 1 raises to 90 in EP, I repop to 270 with AA from SB, BB shoves and has me covered (hes absolutley fuckin terrible), Donk 1 reshoves, I obv call…Donk 1 has JJ, Donk 2 has A7…Flop: Jxx. Unreal. I flip out, throw the labtop and hit the back of it with my hand and break the screen. Fuckin great, what a stupid thing to do. I need to control my outburts but its so hard when your so broke and this kinda money will help ya with living expsenses (Booze)

Anyways, I’m just gonna have to hook up the other monitor to the labtop and use that one, cuz its gonna cost 500 bones to repair and I obv don’t have that.

I really need to get this internship for the summer and then summer needs to be here. Life will be much easier/simpler and I’ll have mobneys to play online and NL cash. Living expenses will be way down although I’ll most likely be lonely as shit since I don’t know anyone that lives at home but whatever. Money will buy me happiness
