first things first, Played the 150.00 daily noon at Venetian, had Doug Lee at my starting table. If you don’t know who he is, just google his name. He is a pro player from Canada, and won event #8 at the WSOP in 2005.
He busted after 1 rotation. lol. I played “Ok” until the 3rd hour. I had 15k in chips, blinds just climbed to 400/800 with 75ante. Even tho i needed to double, i was still around average.
I couldnt pick up any hands, so i made a few steal attempts that went horrible.
1st i made a move in early position since i had a tight image. sb who was short stack pushes with AQ. I didnt realize how short sb was, so i was forced to make a call. I lost that.
I made a move in my SB, a rotation later, it folds around to button who limps. i make a big raise with Q,10 and BB wakes up with aces, he calls, button folds. I’m out next hand, GG me.
I really wanted to play well today, but I wasnt on my game. I woke up late, rushed to get there, felt like i had played too much poker the past week, and wasnt feeling it. Going to take some time to relax a bit. might not play any more tourneys until after christmas. Will stick with some cash games to keep my BR building going. happy holidays
