The Double Up worth more than Money

I like to think my No-limit cash game is decent, but I am having the hardest time beating the NL400 level. I’ve been able to beat the NL200 level quite steadily and even have had recent, although small samples, success at NL600 and NL1000. At this point, I’m prepared to accept that it may be some sort of mental block in addition to playing sub-optimal.

I sat down at another NL400 table this evening and skillfully flopped the nuts from the BB. Even though the hand took zero skill, it feels good to win a pot at this level, especially at the start of the session. The double up was worth 1 buy-in but it was worth much more in terms of confidence and prepared me for a lucrative session.
